Slide 1: ==== ==== Acerca de Molinos eólicos caseros y su fabricación: http://www.ingeniero-de-caminos.com/2011/08/mini-molinos-eolicos-domesticos-caseros.html ==== ==== If you've decided to make a windmill, then welcome to being "green." Not only is a windmill better for the environment than man-made electricity, but a windmill on your property will also lower your electric bills, as well as bring in tax-savings. Making a homemade windmill can be relatively inexpensive, when you take into account all the money you will save on your electric bill. However, you need to ensure that you have the proper area to place the windmill and a few basic materials. In order for the windmill to work properly, you will need to place it in a wide clearing, with no trees and wires. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to live in a place where the wind is always blowing to keep your house powered. Once your windmill is set up and running, it really doesn't use that much wind to create wind-powered electricity. Building a windmill is not as technical, or as difficult as you may think. In fact, your local library or bookstore is sure to carry a "How-To" book that can offer step- by-step instructions to help guide you through this project. Obviously, in order to build a windmill, you will need some basic materials, which you may even have at your house. Two necessary components of a windmill are the controller box and the rectifier. Some of the other basic parts of the windmill may even be lying around your house! For instance, an old hard-drive from a computer can be used for the controller box, and an alternator off an old vehicle can stand in as the rectifier. Having your own, uninterruptible power-source will bring a great peace-of-mind to you. And, as a bonus, it will help you save on your electricity expenses!
