Slide 2: A 1950’s prom dress  This dress is a 1950's prom dress in floral embroidered pink tulle. It’s a strapless bodice layered fan bust. This dress has a full skirt which curves and opens at the back to reveal a layer of rulled tulle underneath. The dress is fully lined in pinkish beige acetate. It has a rear metal zipper and the bodice is boned.  Music: Mona Lisa
Slide 3: A 1950’s party dress  This dress is a 1950's party dress in ivory nylon. It has a fitted bodice which is gathered and draped. It has spaghetti straps. This dress has a full skirt with an attached crinoline, it’s fully lined and has a rear metal zipper. The bodice is boned and the label reads, "Lorrie Deb San Francisco."  Music: Goodnight Irene.
Slide 4: A 1954 cocktail dress  This dress is a 1954 cocktail dress of black French silk chiffon jersey over silk taffeta and strapped with silk ropes.  The mood of 1954 fashion was elegant, soft, rich, often brilliantly colored, but with a well-bred effect. It was mostly about beauty and quality in fabric.  Music: Oh, My Papa
Slide 5: A 1954 woman suit  In the beginning in the spring of 1954 and continuing in their fall collections, many designers in the United States relaxed waistlines, de-emphasized the bust and placed belts, sashes and drapery at the hip to give a new "long torso" effect.  Music: That's Amore 
Slide 6: A evening dress from 1959  This dress is from 1959. It was designed by Richard Cole, this belted black jersey evening gown has elegance with its simple, classic lines.  The year 1959 was one in which women's fashions reflected both the experimental and practical points of view. The loose chemise and sack outlines turned into a still soft figure-defining silhouette, with the waistline area its focal point.  Music: Mr. Blue 
Slide 7: A dress from 1959  This dress is a 1959. It is from the House of Dior, this town dress of pale textured silk with high waist and full, it’s simple elegance.  Sleeves and shoulders were smooth, bulbous, roundness; hats were like helmets.  Music: My Happiness 
Slide 8: A ball gown from the 1960  This dress is a 1960’s ball gown. Heavyweight lavender nylon chiffon. It’s a strapless bodice with gathered acetate waistband. The gown has a full skirt with a bustled rear and an attached crinoline. The dress is fully lined, has a rear metal zipper and the bodice is boned.  Music: Alton Ellis: "I'm Still in Love With You"
Slide 9: A 1960’s cocktail dress  A 1960's cocktail dress in pale, peachy pink satin. It’s pink satin waistband with bow. It has a fitted, strapless bodice with winding sequin trim and prong set rhinestones. This dress has a semi-full skirt with a petal hemmed overskirt, an attached, ruffled crinoline and is shown here with an additional, thin crinoline. It has a rear metal zipper and the bodice is boned.  Music: The Foundations: "Build Me Up Buttercup"
Slide 10: A 1990’s evening dress  This is 1990 evening dress. It shows the love for the dramatic colors, and influence from the 30’s and 40’s.  Music: Black Or White by Michael Jackson.
Slide 11: A dress from the 1990’s  This is a dress from the 1990’s, and it’s influenced by the early 20’s and 30’s fashion like most fashion in the 90’s. It has a full flared skirt and a sleeved bodice. The material is a soft satin that reflect light slightly.  Music: My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion.
