In part, this is due to the fact that the hair restoration procedure is constantly changing and there are methods that are used now which were not used several years ago. In addition, however, many doctors that offer hair restoration also add to the confusion. How did they do this? The best defense that you have against this type of outdated hair restoration procedure is a good education on the overall process. The more you know about hair transplant surgery, the better equipped you will be to make a wise decision before you sit in the operating chair. Another reason why people misunderstand the Hair restoration procedure has to do with advertising. For example, fancy brochures are designed by many hair transplantation doctors which show fantastic before and after pictures. The thing that they don't let you know, however, is the fact that those represent the best of the best and the after pictures are often taken immediately after the surgery has been completed. Instead of believing what you see in before and after pictures, it is a much better idea for you to ask for references and follow-up on those references before you have the hair restoration done. When you choose somebody that is experienced and truly understands the microfollicular unit transplantation procedure, the hair restoration surgery can really make you happy with how you look. The procedure is a relatively simple one but better yet, the finished product is going to be a natural, full head of hair that you are sure to enjoy.
