Slide 1: ==== ==== If You Would Like To Learn More About Referral Marketing, Please Click On The Link. http://www.SevenFigureMasterMindTeam.com/klkretz59 ==== ==== There are various ways by which potential new distributors may be identified by people involved in network marketing. Whichever means is used to seek new leads, it is always best to provide simple, clear and relevant information to prospects so that they can evaluate it. They can then come to an informed decision about whether or not to join the business. Persuasion and 'armtwisting' invariably result in new distributors who have low motivation and do not remain in the business very long. This article includes a review of how a referral marketing contact list can provide weeks if not months of leads. Consider some of the techniques that may be used to find new team members. Mail shots can work but their effectiveness is very variable. Bulk mail shots may have to be sent as many recipients tend to bin materials arriving through the letterbox as junk mail without even reading the offer. This is an expensive way of seeking prospects. The postage costs alone can be daunting. There are also costs involved in producing the mail shot flyer. Numerous other glossy materials arrive in the mail from pizza companies, local takeaways and household services which can all distract the home owner from the networking flyer. The recipient of the flyer also needs to be prepared to make the effort to reply to the prospector by mail or electronically. Placing cards in shop windows such as newsagents is a cheap way of seeking prospects. However, the response rate is often low. Placing advertisements in magazines and newspapers can work but this can be expensive and the results are sometimes poor. Leaflet drops need to be made in bulk to get a reasonable return in terms of response rate but there is a cost attached to producing the leaflets and getting them delivered. If the network marketer himself/herself delivers the leaflets it can become very time-consuming. Other means of prospecting include emailing and using a website but spam must be avoided. Social media marketing is now in common use and networks such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube may be utilised. Probably the cheapest effective way of finding prospects is by talking to people. Some people may be known to the prospector such as friends or family and are referred to as warm leads. Other people who are strangers may also need to be approached and these make up the so-called cold market. The prospector should write down in a notebook a ''contact list''. The initial list should be made up of the names of people that are known. The people on this list should not be pre-judged. Say as an example 100 names go onto the list. People can be approached one by one to either become a customer or as a potential distributor to add to the networking team. On contacting a person on the list the prospector should note the date, time and should write brief
Slide 2: notes on what is said. If the prospector talks to or telephones a lead again in the future it is helpful to remember what was said previously. Having some personal details to hand such as employment, hobbies and family members can be helpful and makes for a friendly conversation. A particular individual who is a lead on the contact list may or may not want to register in the networking business. Either way, the prospector should ask for referrals. Say the person on the contact list does not want to join the business. (They may change their mind in the future but their decision should be respected). By asking who the person knows that might like to get involved in joining the business, the prospector might be given for example 3 referrals. The details should be written down and noted for future action. As various people on the contact list are approached one by one, more referrals are obtained. One lead may refer nobody, someone else may give 10 names and so on. It is not known by the prospector who the person on the contact list knows and that is why it is important not to pre-judge anyone. Someone who might potentially be a ''poor'' distributor in the business may refer a person who becomes a ''star' team member. By obtaining referrals from the individuals on the original contact list, the number of names of new people to contact becomes considerably increased. Each one of these new prospects can be approached and the practice of asking for referrals can be repeated. A good tip is to ask each person on the original contact list to phone or speak to the person they refer, if possible. They can explain to the person they are recommending that someone is going to phone them with an interesting offer. When the prospector phones the referred lead the latter is now a warm lead rather than a cold lead. They are also ''pre-qualified'' in the sense that they are willing to receive the prospector's telephone call and they therefore may have an interest to hear a business proposition. Many if not most home-based network marketing businesses lend themselves to referral marketing. Readers are invited to peruse the following website to see examples: http://www.moneymakers-moneysavers.com In some cases referrals may lead to overseas leads and new contacts, not just those based in the country of the home market. The current global economy is in a fragile state and runs the risk of a catastrophic ''meltdown''. There is an ever-increasing risk of unemployment and financial hardship. However, it is not all doom and gloom. People can take responsibility for their own financial security. There are resources available both to save money and earn extra money from home. Readers from countries around the world are invited to peruse the money making and money saving options on the following website and take action to improve their personal finances. http://www.moneymakers-moneysavers.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Graham_Clingbine
