Today ask anyone if they believe that you can get support when it is advertised as being available? No matter what your profession trade or service industry, it is the one thing that people/clients, yes, businesses themselves, complain about more than any thing else today. It is the one of the major causes of businesses not succeeding and possibly failing! Have we brought this on ourselves? I believe we have in some cases! Look at the banks, just last year, let alone a few years ago, every new investor or borrower secured, meant more chance of a big bonus for the advisor or client relationship manager (a great title that gives you the warm feeling that you are special). So, no matter whether the product or service is right for the individual or company, they would be pushed into "sign on the dotted line" with promises of support and help (tutoring, coaching, training, expert advice, direct access to the professionals, etc.) 24/7. No mention is made that the support staff are not based locally and staff at the end of the number you have been given do not work 24/7 or you are asked to leave a message and a ticket will be logged. They glibly tell you a client relationship manager or a customer service advisor or the support desk, (desks do not talk!) will get back to you. In the case of some Banks or Insurance companies the nearest Branch have not been trained to provide that much needed help help, and recommend you call another number to speak to customer support! I hear you say it has always been like that, one way or another, good service and support has never been perfect! So what am I on about? I would like for a moment to address the problems we face today! In this fast changing world where e-Commerce is becoming the most common and almost the only way you can do your business. Such as contracting with local suppliers to get electricity/water connected, or signup for training / educational courses! E-Commerce has come along with a host of new problems! A few of them are related to criminal activities, but lets put those aside for a moment, the most reputable companies do have very good support desks, but not all of them! There are many where very rarely can you reach someone (ANYONE THERE?) on the phone or Live Support Desk if you need help and to talk to a real live person to ask a question! I do not believe that we have to accept this as the way of doing business today, particularly when it comes to buying programs/systems that claim to include all the education and support that you need.
Slide 2: Today it may be acceptable for some who are fortunate enough to have a good understanding of technology and the Internet! ...But I must ask you - what about the businesses that offer video based training? Telling you it will be all that you will ever need to get you fully trained in your chosen field, including Internet Businesses. Usually it comes with assurance in writing or verbal, that there is a support desk to assist, 24/7. ... Great, you say, what's wrong with that, you ask? Till recently I would have agreed with you but after being given similar assurances I when buying an awesome Internet Business product from a sponsor who did not deliver the support and training promised. I was fortunate enough to transfer to a very supportive team with genuine live training 4 nights a week. Here, I have met and talked to a number of individuals, some who have put their hopes and dreams into buying the products in the past, which offered them solutions to their problems. Believing the pitches "we will hold your hand and live training will be given once or twice a week". They sign on the dotted line pay over their "for a rainy day savings". A week later they are on the live training call only to hear a recorded video! That is not all! Someone is there, pressing the buttons "Play Recording" in the webinar (web seminar) but as hard as listeners try he/she ignores all the questions and raised hands! That my friends, equals no support! Nor training in my book. No wonder Internet marketing is viewed skeptically if that is all people are getting from some promoters' of Internet business opportunities. It is just the same as being told we have logged your request and someone in that department will get back to you! Really how often does someone get back 24 hours later, when you needed help within an hour or two? On occasions you are sent to the FAQ's automated recording list of answers. Please do not get me wrong, all these systems work, and have a place in support of clients and in business. It is just that I say, we are not ROBOTS, our levels of understanding differ from person to person, Jack may understand every thing perfectly, but Ahmed or Jane need the instructions to be phrased differently. "We live in multi cultural societies now, so we should be able to understand each other!" I hear you saying. I agree, but we are all from different cultures and local direct assistance should, in my opinion, be offered where ever possible. So after all that what do I think we should do? When I have talked to friends, family and team members we have all agreed that the very best advice to give individuals, prospects/customers, is best summed up as follows, Buyer Beware! Is not enough anymore? First, let me clarify that I am, specifically, here to talk about internet training and courses! To make it real easy for you here is a list of the recommendations I give individuals when talking to them about opportunities they are considering. 1.Do due diligence on the Person 2.On the Company 3.On the program product or system 1. On the person google "Their" their full name, just type it in and you will be able to see how involved they are and review some of their internet activities. You can in many cases Google

Do the same thing on the company say YourNetBiz and again you will be able to see how broadly they are covered on the internet. 3. To research the product may take a little more work on your part, but it will be worth it, talk to the person who is offering you the opportunity and ask the following questions. 1. Could you sit in on a webinar with others? 2. Could you talk to others who have bought / invested with him or his sponsor or mentor? 3. Ask if all the training calls are just 'pre-recorded' calls? In addition Read as many testimonials as you can! But most of all, sleep on it! Do not fall for the you must buy now! - Before the price increase or all the spaces are booked, we only have space for 12 this month! They are in business to sell you something, and that is what they are trained to do! Follow your Gut instinct, if you are unsure, you will know it, all the more reason to hold back. After close on 4 Years researching the Internet Market, I can assure you all, that there are a number of very good companies out there, offering you great business opportunities! Another option is to consider doing an introduction course where you learn the basics before spending your hard earned money.
