Welding industries developed well in the 19th century and in 1907 two welders came to us and patented a metal arc welding method. In 1923 institute of welding engineers was formed in New York City and in 1924 welded steel buildings were constructed (more)

Slide 1: Tig welder and its uses Tig welding grants the operator a great control over welding process and this process uses a non consumable electrode called tungsten electrode. The welding industry uses this welding process to weld stainless steels and non ferrous metals like aluminium, magnesium and copper. Tig welder is most widely used welding machine to do tig welding and in this article, we are going to discuss tig welders and its type in brief so that at the end of this article, you might come to know about various types of welders available in tig welding. There are totally five different types of tig welding machines available and they are power I-tig 200, power tig 200 DX, power tig 225 LX, power tig 250 EX, power tig 315 DX are those five different types. Let us see one by one in brief and let us start with power I tig 200. Power I tig 200 has many features and benefits and here comes the list of features of this welder. It is Stable and has smooth welding arc characteristics with good puddle wet. This welding machine is Portable and lightweight with industrial capability and has adjustable weld parameters for 2t/4t operation. The Pulse function increases the weld quality and reduces the overall heat input and you can easily connect the accessories and torch to this machine with quick set up. You can connect to clean power generator and can take it anywhere you like with ease. This type has digital readout for accurate setting of amperage controls and it has color coded controls that are very easy to find and understand. Also, it has ergonomic styled torch and accessories and suitable for use with 6800 W power generators. It has high capacity so this machine can be used for industrial purpose and its light weight makes it easy to transport and this machine can be used in the following areas like welding repair, motorsports, automotive, commercial maintenance, machine shops and shipyard industry. The other machines have the same features as the above one and differ only in few aspects. For example, power I tig 200 is suitable for use with 6800 W power generators whereas Power tig 200 DX is suitable for 7500 W clean power generator. Similarly power tig 225 LX is suitable for 8500 W and power tig 250EX is suitable for 10000 W. All these welding machines are of Infineon IGBT inverter type and with the help of these machines, you can weld different types of metals with different thickness and also, the recommended electrode diameter varies. Each type is typically used for different settings and these welders indicate if the required current exceed due to it’s over current warning facility. So with the help of tig welders, the user can weld different metals with quality welds and this process allows for stronger and
Slide 2: higher quality welds. This machine is commonly used in welding industry and the user can increase the weld penetration, weld speed and quality with ease and without any discomfort. Try to get these welding machines in a good shop so that you may enjoy the features of this machine in a satisfactory way.
