Slide 1: The All-American Hangout An Exceptional Family & Teen Restaurant & Entertainment Venue “An Education Platform for Teens, enveloped in an exceptional Restaurant and Entertainment Venue”
Slide 2: The All-American Hangout Executive Summary My name is Don Arling and as a successful business owner, I have enjoyed past success in several Real Estate ventures, including a highly profitable Real Estate Franchise, a 20M dollar Real Estate Sales Team, as well as a profitable residential Real Estate Rehab Co. My College education was in Hotel, Restaurant and Business Management, spending my first 3 years out of college doing just that, with the ultimate goal of owning my own restaurant one day. My passion to lead and teach Teens, has driven me to create the perfect situation for myself, for my 3 children, your children, and their friends, and their friends, and their friends, for many generations to come… My next venture, a unique Entertainment, Restaurant and Energy Club concept; will be visible and well targeted. The American Hanger Restaurant concept is derived from the 1950’s phenomenon of Diners, with a modern day Pop Culture twist; from Antique and Muscle Car Shows, to today's Top 40 Music, to the Band Stand, to the Graciously Rude Waiters & Waitresses, to the local High School Theme décor, to the Teen Energy Bar; targeting the Teenager, their parents, their Sports Teams, their Families and Friends. We are creating a “Destination Place”. The competition, well, there simply is none. Think of it this way, I am inviting Teens to hang out in a secured and safe environment, having fun, loitering if you will, and just being themselves; with their parents, friends and family; to share Good Times and Experiences with. Have you ever wondered, where is Stephanie, where is Justin tonight? There is Chuckie Cheese for 3-7 year olds, Incredible Pizza for 6-12 year olds (100 new franchises forming), and Dave and Busters for 20+ year olds; however, there is an untapped market for the 12 to 18 year olds; and we have the concept that will embrace this generation, The Y-Generation, the Social Media, Mobile Technology Generation. Did you know? Teenagers today have the most disposable income of any demographic group in the U.S., spending in excess of $170,000,000,000.00 per year, Approximately 30B, or 17% is spent on just food and beverage alone. This untapped market has unlimited potential and National Franchise possibilities. The environment will be full of energy, creative and entertaining, as well as rich in learning, from the staff, to the concert promotions, the High School Team & Theme parties, The Battle of the HS Bands, Beach Volleyball, to the Modern Music and the 50’s Drive-In atmosphere. Imagine an environment of Nostalgia with Elvis, Marilyn Monroe and the Beatles, a Retro feeling, and today's Pop culture with Katie Perry & Justin Bieber, The Black Eyed Peas and Maroon 5; somewhat of a Disney Atmosphere, alive and fun! And most of all, MEMORABLE!!! Keeping it safe; a place where our Teen-agers can work, play and grow in a controlled and secure environment is key to our success. A Zero-tolerance policy will be our priority. So go back if you will, go back to High School, Enjoy the Good Old Days of the 50’s, Dream,

Slide 6: AHR - Our Primary Teen Market Statistical Facts & Support           Teens have the most disposable income then any other age group in U.S. Teens spend in excess of 179 billion per year; it looks something like this: $179,000,000,000.00. Teens spend 17% of that in food & drink or $30,500,000,000.00 per year. Teens w/part-time jobs avg. $104.00 per week disposable income. Teens between ages 12 to 16 receive an or average $50.00/week allowance; and approximately 40% receive and allowance. Allowance also consists of weekly handouts, as well as for chores completed. Teens have relatively low to zero debt, so their disposable income to income ratio, as is much greater than that of their parents. By 2010, there will be 34 million Teens between the ages of 12 to 19 years, eclipsing the previous high of 33 million at the peak of the Baby Boom. Where do the teens get their money? Allowance, working small jobs, i.e. grass cutting, baby sitting, Part-time jobs, gifts from b-days and holidays and “The Pester Power”. “The Pester Power” – asking their parents for money, to buy things for them. It is proven it only takes a child to ask a parent 9 times before they actually give up and give in. The bad News – U.S. middle-class teens only ranks 6th in individual spending, behind Norway #1, then Sweden at #2…interesting.
