Gallup poll conducted Aug. 18-24 showed that 58% of registered Hispanic voters preferred Obama and 31% preferred McCain. And the recent Pew Hispanic Center survey reached a similar conclusion: 66% of Hispanics preferred Obama, 23% McCain. In the states: • According to Quinnipiac, in Colorado Latino voters go with Obama by 68-26% as of Sept 21. • Latino voters favored Barrack Obama over John McCain by a 3-1 margin in the key battleground states of New Mexico, Colorado and Nevada, according to a poll released in September by Latino Decisions and the National Association of Latino Elected Officials . • And in the most recent Newling Research poll in Florida, 49% of Hispanics favored Obama to McCain's 43%.
