So you want to make money online but you don't want go through the trouble of having a inventory or buying things on eBay and then reselling them to make a profit. Or maybe you just want to work from home. Good news there is a way to do this and it's with More... affiliate programs bad news is if you don't put enough time and effort needed to make money with affiliates you are going to quit before you even get started and possibly be out of some money if you spent any on advertising. Affiliate programs are not a easy way out if that's what you were thinking. It's pretty much like owning a business only difference is you don't hold a inventory, you don't deal with customers, and you don't ship anything you just advertise. How cool is that and I am going to show you how to get started. Getting Started Now its time to get started with choosing a affiliate program and making money with it. First you are going to need few things: * A affiliate program of course. Some that I like to use are eBay, Moreniche, Zlio, and auctionads. With Zlio and Moreniche being the most newbie friendly. * A blog or website, pretty much a place to put your referral links, another place is business cards. * A way to advertise your blog, or website. Pay per click (google adwords, yahoo sponsored search), youtube marketing, myspace marketing and/ or forums. * Something to separate you from the rest of the crowd (affiliates) and drive traffic to your site, this can be done many ways just think outside of the box. One example is article writing do NOT copy articles google will penalize your site for duplicate content. If you do copy a article be sure to link back to it so google does not penalize you. First Impressions You only have 5-7 seconds to capture your viewers attention before they go to another site. First off please do NOT add so many different colors its hurts to read or better yet multiple bright neon colors here and there. It may capture attention but it also discourages people to continue reading simply because it hurts the eyes. The correct way to do this is show featured products and then a sales pitch, that is all that is needed. I know pretty simple right. Adding Content
Slide 2: Now that you got your affiliate program picked out and got your site set up, it's time to add content. Content is what keeps people coming back to your site and also how you gain their trust. So this step is very important.You can copy articles from different sites and link back to them but that only puts you with the rest of the affiliates that are doing the same thing but if you rewrite a article in your own words or better yet write a article yourself you will get a lot of traffic especially once other sites start linking to your article. If you don't know how to write a article just search for the topic you want to write and get some ideas on what to write about by looking at what other people's articles. For ex. you want to write about the new ipod so you would search for ipod guide, ipod review, or how to ipod, just something along those lines. Also if you don't like writing you can also try a video review and submit it to youtube.
