Most people would probably think "Oh, that's awful! Poor child!", and yes, it's sad when something like that happens, but somehow a few people know how to make the most of their life, even though they encounter negative situations. In this case, the world would have been different to a lot of people, if this particular child wasn't blinded. Before I tell you more about the blind child, I will tell you about the experience, I had today, and what you can learn from it. If I hadn't been using the Law of Attraction, I'm sure things would have gone differently. We were out of coffee, and decided to start the car and drive the ten kilometers to the nearest supermarket. Our car isn't exactly the latest model, but we needed a new (used) car, and since we don't drive a lot, we wanted a real cheap one. It's a fine car, but the thing that should show us how much gas there's left in the tank, doesn't work, and we didn't quite know how far we could go in it. It was already dark at 6PM, when we left home. Frost was biting our chins, as we walked to the car, but it started without problems. Four kilometers before the supermarket, it began to make funny sounds, and it was clear that we were running out of gas. Oh, please, just four more kilometers, we were praying, but neither the car, nor God, nor the Universe seemed to hear our prayers. The car went to a stop. A pretty negative situation. But we kept thinking positive thoughts. So there we were, in the middle of nowhere, in the dark. We started to walk against the supermarket in the tiny town ahead of us. I felt sure that we would get picked up by a car. We hadn't been walking long, maybe for a minute or so, when three cars made their appearance on the road. I made sign to them to stop, and the third one did. The kind driver took us to the supermarket, where we first bought a petrol can, and then petrol. He offered to take us back to the car as well, but while he was waiting for us to get our petrol, his battery went dead. Somebody in a car tried to push his car back to live again, but they moved farther and farther away from us, still without the engine turning. So the situation had again changed from positive, back to negative. Neither of us let this effect us in any way. My husband grabbed the petrol can and began walking towards our car. He feared that the cold would put a stop to our battery as well. And we had cables in our car, so we could help the man start his car again. I stayed back and waited for the man to come back.
Slide 2: A few minutes later, he did. On the back seat of another car, the car that had tried to help him with his flat battery. We picked up my husband, and a few minutes later, we could put the gas on our car. We thanked them for their help, and they drove off. But our car still wouldn't start. Now our battery was flat as well. And the road seemed empty. It was freezing cold, and totally black outside. We were far away from home. Still, we sent out positive vibrations, and we were sure that we would make it, somehow. Only five minutes later, a car stopped behind us. It was the man who lived in the house at the end of the road, we were parked near. Not only did he offer to help bring our battery back to life, but he was a mechanic, and he told us that since we ran out of gas, air had entered the system. He emptied the system for air, and we could start our car, and finally get the coffee, we wanted, only two minutes before the supermarket closed. How big is the chance, do you think, that you run into a mechanic in the middle of nowhere, at 7PM, on a dark and cold road? Very low, I should think, but that's what happened to us. We got so much help throughout this bad situation, and I am sure that it helped that we only send out positive vibrations no matter how bad things looked. We felt confident in that we would get help somehow, and that we would get our car going again. Back to the blind kid, I wrote about in the beginning of the article. If he had just sat down and whined about his fate, his life would have been wasted. Instead, he got the most out of the situation, and he became the man who invented a writing system for blind people. That child was Louis Braille.
