Slide 1: ==== ==== For more information try this: http://bit.ly/wsHS8y ==== ==== The Google Virus hit the internet like a storm, it infected thousands of computers within hours of it being released and millions more in the coming days, since the virus was first spread around computers, it hasn't really stopped growing from there, in fact it is a increasing problem for the normal computer user to not be able to access any search engines anymore, but how can you tell if you are infected with the Google Virus? First off, "Google Virus" has just been the name given, even though "Search Engine Virus" would of made a lot more sense, "Google Virus" kind of stuck and that's the name it was given, now even though it's got Google in the name, the virus applies to all major search engines, Yahoo, Bing etc. Which can cause some real problems if you're trying to find something on the internet, I mean you can't really use the internet properly without the use of search engines and obviously the creators of this virus know that. Now the virus doesn't prevent you from going on the search engines, it's much more sneaky then that, you can even still make searches and get the real results, but when you click on a result, your taken to a completely different website, in fact you are redirected to advertisement pages, these pages have been set up by the creators of the virus and they make them money basically. The idea is, if you get redirected to a website from the search engines, which contains advertisements related to what you were searching for, you'd click on them right? Well the chances are you would anyway, combined with the fact you can't use search engines, these guys have probably made a lot of people click on their adverts, so whenever you click on a search engine result and get taken to a page full of adverts, you've been infected. Another page has been popping up for some people, they try to sell you a antivirus which will remove the problem, this is utter crap, the antivirus they provide WILL NOT solve the Google Virus infection, in fact it'll probably make your computer a lot worse than it already is. If either of these are happening you and your computer, you need to get it sorted out as soon as possible! There are a couple of ways you can remove the Google Virus, the most obvious is doing it manually, which you really need to be a computer expert to do, there are a couple of Google Virus Removal tools floating around the internet, I'd advise you to look into using one of them to remove the virus automatically for you.
