Slide 1: Brakes & Rotors Belle Tire Car Care Tips
Slide 2: Check brakes every 8,000 – 10,000 miles! When you think about it, brakes, especially anti-lock brakes, are one of the most important safety features on any car. So to make sure they’re ready to go when you’re ready to stop, you should have them checked every 8 to 10 thousand miles.
Slide 3: Make sure everything is working properly ASE Certified technicians like the ones here at Belle Tire can check brake lining wear, rotors, fluid levels, hoses, connecting hardware and more to make sure everything is working the way it should. We can also turn drums and rotors, if needed, to give them an even gripping surface for new brake shoes or pads.
Slide 4: Watch for Warning Signs! Of course, if you experience any of the following warning signs, you should have your brakes checked as soon as possible: Squealing or grinding, unusually soft or hard pedal feel, clicking noises while braking, or if your car pulls right or left when braking.
Slide 5: Are your pads appropriate? As for the newer metallic and semimetallic pads and shoes, your installing technician can tell you if they are appropriate for your particular vehicle. For more tips and auto advice click on the “car care” tab at BelleTire.com.
