Slide 1: First Choice Community Bank: Erratic performance finally catches up with bank First Choice Community Bank, Dallas, GA was closed by the regulators on April 29, 2010. All deposit accounts, excluding the Cede & Co. deposits, have been transferred to Bank of the Ozarks, Little Rock, AR (”assuming institution”) and will be available immediately. The former First Choice Community Bank locations will reopen as branches of Bank of the Ozarks during regular business hours. Safety Ranking BankVega safety ranking has been erratic for last 2 years and seen wild swings. It looks like bank tried to maintain its growth at all costs, but fundamental challenges in asset quality resulted in bankruptcy of the bank. Key Performance Indicators Consistent deterioration in all key parameters other than growth – which indicates that bank was trying to grow at expense of other fundamental metrics.
