Slide 1: ==== ==== Learn how to make Apps for your I phone or I pad now! Click Here! http://tinyurl.com/CreateAnIphoneorIpadAPPS ==== ==== I recently attended REBarCampTO, and was happy to see so many Realtors are already using iPads in their day-to-day business. Having spoken with a number of folks during and after the event, we have summarized the top iPad Apps for Realtors for you below. Read on to find out what the 5 must-have iPad apps are. 1. Dropbox (Free) Dropbox is a must have not only for Realtors but for anyone who uses a computer and a mobile device. You can install Dropbox on your PC, mac, iPhone, and iPad, and have the files you choose automatically synchronize all the time. That means, no more leaving a document behind in the office, or not being able to access a listing agreement because you are on the go. If it's on your PC's Dropbox, it will also be on your iPad. Say no to transferring files between computers or emailing them to yourself! You get 2GB for free, which should be plenty if you don't put a lot of videos and photos. 2. Good Reader ($4.99) One of best things about using an iPad for work is having the ability to pull up and PDF documents and to be able to mark them up. That's where Good Reader + Dropbox is such a beautiful thing. Good Reader integrates with Dropbox, and is able to read any PDF files that you have already placed in Dropbox. You can then easily pull up that sales agreement, highlight the places where your client needs to sign and email it off. No more printing documents out, marking them up with a pen and then faxing! Well worth the $4.99 just for that alone! 3. Microsoft Photosynth (Free) If you have never heard of Photosynth, we won't blame you. Photosynth is a cutting edge technology from Microsoft that automatically stitches adjacent photos together to create a rich 3D experience. For Realtors, that means you can easily create a 3D experience of a home that you are listing and put it on your website. Creating the 3D experience is also extremely easy. The app provides you with guide lines so you know which part of the scene you need to take a photo of. You will be able to create 3D experiences of your listed homes that will stand out above the crowd. 4. Realtor.ca (Free) This is actually an iPhone app, but it can be used on the iPad as well. It simply puts the power of MLS in your palms and allows you to search for properties nearby, search by MLS# and find new listings. What is there not to like?
Slide 2: 5. TweetDeck (Free) Never mind that Twitter recently acquired TweetDeck for $50 million, TweetDeck on the iPad is a must have if you use Twitter regularly. It lets you handle multiple Twitter accounts easily, create views of particular # tags, and it integrates with photo services like twitpic, yfrog or tweetphoto. He is the founder of HomeKey.ca, the first ratings and reviews site for real estate professionals in the Greater Toronto Area.
