If I knew then, what I know now about the internet, I would have quit my day job a long time ago. Instead I sacrificed precious time with my family; going to school full-time and working full-time. Do not get me wrong it was great. I love to learn and I love to work, but my children are most important to me. So about a year ago, I quit my job and decided that sacrificing precious time with my children was not something that I wanted to do. So, I started looking for other opportunities that would allow me to be my own boss, and to work around my childrens schedule. Guess what? I discovered the internet. I must say I did learn the hard way, but learning the hard way led me to other opportunities. I would spend a lot of time researching the internet, coming across both promising and misleading opportunities. The good thing about misleading opportunities is that you start to become aware of them each time you do research. The Key There are a lot, and I mean a lot of opportunities out there. But you do have to work at these opportunities, just like you work a normal nine to five job. The harder you work, the harder it pays off. Like a normal job you will not get paid for sitting on your behind all day doing nothing. So the key here is to put time and effort into your home-based business to make it work for you and for your family. Legitimacy I have done research and after a lot of fall outs, I found the greatest thing that has ever happened. It is legitimate, it does pay off, and most of all it is FUN! Why is it fun? Because, I have, all the free time in the world to spend with my children. It is called "Affiliate Marketing" the biggest thing on the internet today. Affiliate Marketing is a marketing tool that Web Base Businesses use to promote their products and services. The Marketer, also known as the "advertiser" will usually be compensated by the "Merchant" for helping to drive traffic or sales to the merchants website. It is really a great opportunity for people like me. Encouragement If you are looking for your "niche" the best way to go about it is to use the internet. Use your computer because it is the largest network in the world. You are connected to so many opportunities there is out there. Use it to supplement your income, spend time with your children, or even plan for a trip. Whatever it is that you are searching for, make it work for you. Spend your time researching, experiencing, and learning.
Slide 2: I know that there are a lot of families that are looking for a way to help supplement their existing income and I really hope this helps you. Here are some helpful tips: 1. Set short-term goals - what would you like to achieve in your new success journey 2. Do your research - keep track of business opportunities that you may have interest in, and narrow it down to the one that you really would like to work with. 3. Learn - Learn as much as you can, about every business interest that you have or would like to try. Most affiliate marketing businesses will help to teach you along the way. Using tools such as, step-by-step format, or visual tools. This really does help a lot, especially if you are a beginner in advertising. 4. Keep a journal - Track all of your activities in a log book, or spreadsheet. This really does help to keep you organized. 5. Work - Do not set yourself up for failure. Work your business, as you would working for someone else. Own it! Live your life the way want to live it, not the way someone else would like to see you living.
I'm happy to say that I enjoy working from the comfort of my own home. I get to do everything that I could NOT do with my family when I was working a nine to five job and going to school.
