Slide 1: ==== ==== If You Would Like More Information Then Please Visit Us; http://tinyurl.com/72vop6l ==== ==== There is great money to be made if you go about buying and using licences in the right way. Information Licensing is all about acquiring rights to good quality 'How To' books, manuals, reports, DVDs, CDs, software and articles that you can then sell with mark-ups of around 1001,000%. What's so great about Information Licensing? I'll tell you: * The money you make does not depend on the time or effort you put in * You can set this up to run on autopilot * The profit can be embarrassingly high! * You can operate this business from a laptop and mobile phone anywhere in the world * You work your own hours, wherever you like. * You don't have to invest a penny on marketing You don't need to create your own product * No face-to-face selling * Very little start-up capital required * No need for employees * It's legal, ethical and honest What You Need to Know About Making Great Money From Other People's Info Products Today I'm blowing the lid off this incredibly lucrative industry and giving you something of great value for free to help you get off to a flying start! The Golden Rule: Know your market and what they want The Golden Rule of becoming successful in Information Licensing is always be market-driven (i.e. giving people products they want to buy), never product-driven (i.e. sourcing products to sell to them). Finding out what your market wants is pretty straightforward; you just look at what they are already buying. The biggest mistake I made when first starting out was to decide what I thought the market would want, as opposed to letting the market lead me. This is probably the most common mistake I see new businesses make. People get caught up in falling in love with an idea for a product but don't stop to consider whether there's even a market for it. This is ego-based marketing... and the chances of succeeding with this approach are pretty darn limited. So don't do it. People buy on emotional impulse and then rationalise their purchase with logic. This is really important, because your product must first appeal to people's emotions and then have credibility to
Slide 2: satisfy their logical decisions; otherwise they won't buy from you. So before you even consider buying an Information Licence you must first find your market and then identify what they want. Which of these proven markets will you choose? If you're serious about making a lot of money from Information Licensing, you'll choose one of these three niches: 1.How to Make Money 2. Health 3. Self-development/Happiness Some of my most successful licence products have been 'How To' guides on Internet marketing, direct mail, futures trading, spread betting, property, and stocks and shares. As you can see, the common thread running through all these licence products is How to Make Money. Just one of my Information Licensing products on Internet marketing has pulled in over £300,000 in sales. Sure, you can make a profit by working a more obscure niche such as deep-sea fishing, but from experience, I can tell you now that the big money is made by those of us getting involved with one or more of the niches above. How to choose the licence that's right for you There are four main types of licences you can buy. Let's take a look at each of them and identify which has the potential of making you the most amount of money. 1) Resale rights This is the cheapest type of licence you can buy. Basically, you pay a small fee that entitles you to sell the product and keep a % of the profits. But there are some downsides: · you can't edit or change the product content and being able to personalise your licence products enables you to come up with unique offers that stand out from the crowd. · you pay a royalty on each sale to the product owner. This eats into your profit - not good! In some cases you have to buy wholesale from the product owner and occasionally you'll have to buy in bulk. Therefore you could be stumping up a wad of cash before you've even made any sales. The alternative to this is that the product owner fulfils the order but this can mean your customer has to wait longer before receiving their product - and an unhappy customer can mean an increase in refunds... Ouch! Bottom Line: Resale Rights have their disadvantages, but they still have pluses over, for example, affiliate marketing. You are taking payment from your customer, allowing you to build your own database. 2) Reprint rights This type of licence generally costs more to buy than a Resale Rights licence. But it's money well
Slide 3: spent. Because unlike with Resale Rights, you keep 100% of the profits! You still can't change or edit the product, but that doesn't mean you can't still make a good profit. Bottom Line: You own the product. Regardless of whether you bank £5,000 or £500,000, you won't have to pay a penny in royalties to the product creator! I've personally made hundreds of thousands with this type of licence. 3) Master reprint rights (aka master resell rights) This is the most expensive form of licence. The main benefit is that you can sell licences (i.e. Reprint Rights or Resale Rights) for the product. This has made the likes of Andrew Reynolds, Stuart Goldsmith, John Lisgo and Tim Lowe very wealthy. Bottom Line: Assuming one of your Licence Information products retails for £500, you could quite easily sell Master Reprint Rights for 10 times that amount, e.g. £5,000. In this case, scenario 10 sales would net you £50,000! 4) Private label rights This type of licence offers more opportunities to make it your own as you can edit the product to your heart's content. Plus you can even re-brand it and put your own name down as the author. Also, if it's a digital product you can add your own affiliate links in the material. This can bring in sales on the backend by way of recommending certain resources and tools to your customers. Bottom Line: Being able to make your licence product unique gives you many advantages. For example, you won't enter into a price war with anyone else, simply because no one else will be selling your version of this product. Another advantage is, by putting your name down as the author you can establish yourself as an expert on your subject. Five proven ways to find hot licences #1 Google it! Google! Simply type in phrases such as Reprint Rights, Book Reprint Rights, CD Reprint Rights, DVD Reprint Rights, followed by the niche you're interested in. Google is also a great place to find newsgroups to check out what people are saying about licenses on offer. ClickBank.com is another online source worth checking out. You can see how popular an offer is depending on how it ranks - the higher the ranking the more popular the offer is. Seeing what types of products are in demand helps you to identify hot topics within your niche. #2 Dig in the bargain bucket bin Visit some of your local bookshops and check out what books have been consigned to the bargain bucket bin. Most book publishers have no idea how to market effectively and so, for example, a book called Art of Controversy, which only sold a handful of copies had it's title changed to How To Argue Logically, it sold around 30,000! You can acquire the Reprint Rights to these kinds of books very reasonably - don't be surprised if in some cases they might offer you rights for around £300. All you do is contact the publisher and
Slide 4: enquire as to whether licensing rights are available. Be sure to make it clear that you don't intend on marketing the book through traditional routes like bookshops or Amazon. One thing to bear in mind is that books have a lower perceived value compared to manuals, CDs, DVDs, etc. Therefore, ensure you can change the format as part of your licence agreement. #3 Check your inbox One way I've found many of my successful licences was to get onto the mailing lists of acknowledged experts within information publishing. Most of these people have been experts within the Internet marketing world, while others have been experts in the selfdevelopment/happiness industry. From time to time some of these experts offer licences to their products. I've received most of these offers via email with the rest coming through the post. I've come across offers for licences this way from the likes of Joel Comm, Bob Serling, Derek Gehl, Lee Mitleer, Stuart Goldsmith, Jim Sheridan, Anthony Reynolds and Randy Charach. Get a balanced view of who to listen to and buy from by reading customer posts on forums. Take notes on which products are highly recommended. Then visit the product owner's website and optin to their mailing list. Sign up to lots, scan through all the emails you receive, and occasionally you'll come across an offer for a licence. #4 The direct approach If you come across a great product get in touch with the product creator/owner and simply ask if they will sell you a licence! I did this recently with a company in the US who had recorded a series of interviews with various gurus. Initially they weren't interested in the idea but, in the end, this company agreed to a hybrid of Resale Rights and Master Reprint Rights. And I didn't even have to pay anything upfront! Why? Because I explained these benefits: · When selling licences they can charge 10 times the amount of the retail price. For example, if they normally charge £30 for the product, they can sell a licence for £300. · They are entitled to sell as many licences as they like. In fact, you can even offer to help them achieve this goal. For example, once I've finished selling I could offer customers Reprint Rights and then split the profits with the product owner. If you sold 500 of these licences for £300 each and split the profit 50/50 we would both make £75,000. · Others marketing their product for them will increase their name or brand recognition. #5 The lazy way There are hundreds of membership sites you can join online. These sites offer all kinds of licences. However, not all offer good quality. The advantage of using these sites is that you can edit and customise a lot of the material.
Slide 5: Membership sites will give you regular new material, competitive prices and often they make it easy to ascertain quality. Many membership sites offer samples. Plus licence packages will often come with testimonials from other people with regards to the quality. You can often contact these customers to confirm their claims. However, you will often be limited when it comes to customisation. Some of the licences on offer will have restrictions with regards to editing the materials especially for licences that aren't PLRs. You will also be up against lots of competition as there may be an unlimited amount of licences being sold. A neat little trick to finding hungry buyers Use this technique every time you're thinking of acquiring a new licence: One of the key characteristics of the kind of product you can make great money with is one which is already being actively marketed. Many wannabe information publishers make the huge mistake of trying to come up with an untried and untested new product. Big mistake! Let's say your niche is health. You go to Google and put in '10 best exercise programs' or '10 best diet programs' or '10 best exercise programs for seniors or young athletes'. Anybody who comes up in the premium (sponsored) page search and the page search are showing you that they are actively paying to market. You then click those links and join their mailing lists and spend some time on their website. Carefully look at the offers they are putting out. Learn from these people. Make a note of what benefits they list for their product in their sales copy. Then when you come across an offer for a licence make sure the offer includes some of the same benefits. This will show you that there is a market for this product. Want to make money from home?
