Slide 1: Network Enterprise Management Responsible for design, development, and deployment of tools supporting performance measurement, capacity planning, alerting and reporting. Measure, model, and optimize network and system performance in support of architecture requirements and goals. Work directly with other architecture team members to provide accurate metrics and reporting on current and future network and systems development. Five years experience with HP OpenView, NetQOS, CiscoWorks and other standard network performance and monitoring tools required. Experience measuring, managing and administering operational networks and Unix/Windows systems required. Scripting (perl, shell, etc.), VMware Infrastructure, and storage area networks and devices a plus. Enterprise Backup Architecture/Administrator Strong Veritas NetBackup (versions 5.1 to 6.5) with Enterprise backup/disaster and recovery design experience. Candidate MUST have strong Unix System Administration skills and experience with Sun Solaris 8, Linux, and enterprise-wide back-up architecture and recovery procedures using Veritas Netbackup. The candidate must have prior experience with designing, planning, setting up a network-wide Veritas Netbackup Architecture. They must be able to design a backup strategy for a Unix-based network and be able to integrate High performance servers, SANS, NetApps, many different network subnets into the backup scheme. VTL (Virtual Tape Library) and/or Data Domain experience is a plus. Infrastructure Server Team – (Linux) Candidate is required to have strong Linux server System Administration skills. They must have experience with Network Appliance (NetApp), Sun Solaris 8 or 10, and Red Hat Advanced Server 3 / Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3. Virtualization VMWare ESX Servers experience required, along with, UNIX/Windows interoperability problem resolution; DNS/NIS configuration, email support (mozilla, exchange, sendmail, etc), jumpstart and kickstart. HPC System Engineer (CNE Portal) Install, configure and support Red Hat Linux enterprise-class server configurations, special processing clusters, and NETAPP file servers. Expected to be a Senior Administrator, therefore have some skills in several other areas, including the following: Virtualization (Vmware / XEN) , Veritas-based storage management, Veritas Netbackup, Veritas Volume Manager; MYSQL configuration, Apache/JBOSS basic administration, LDAP configuration, DNS/NIS configuration, jumpstart and/or kickstart, Network Appliance administration, Unix scripting skills (Java, Perl, C, Bourne, Korn). MUST have strong Linux (RedHat), SELinux experience and RHCE is a plus
