Smart people build businesses and systems that are controllable, and the system I am introducing to you definitely falls into this category. The first product you will create will cost you the most amount of energy and time. That’s life. The good news is that it gets easier and easier with the more products you create. You must put in the time necessary to develop the skills that will pay you back in the long term. The other good news is that creating your second product will be A LOT easier than the first. Here is what happens when you start to have a line of products (assets) behind you: Most of your income will start to be residual, meaning you will have more time and money to explore other lucrative avenues. Some poor fool would probably waste it all on drunk partying every night, but you’ll most likely be the guy to scale up to offline coaching or consulting services for high-ticket companies. Even if you’re just set on living off of income coming from your products, trust me, it is a big worth to reach such a point. Finding Ideas for Product Creation You might already have some ideas pop into your head the moment you decide to enter into the niche you like and want to get into. Whether you have an idea or not, I still want you to go through the process I will shortly outline, because the main point I want you to understand about product creation is this: You want to tackle one problem with one solution. If your idea is a “problem solving buffet” and you decide to run with that idea, then you lose twice as big as your idea is. One, because you take an enormous amount of time to get this product finished. Two, you leave little room to build upon your product and releasing it back into the market again. Not to mention this third reason alone has two disastrous implications. You make it harder for yourself to attract the hungry buyers needing their specific problem solved now because you give them a whole lot of “useless” data they have to wade through. More importantly however, you vastly decrease the amount of profits you could have gained had you stuck with the one-problem one-solution principle. Instead of cranking out quality products at recordbreaking speed that attract golden buyers, you instead squeeze out something that took a long time to create that only attracts silver or bronze buyers. When you select the market you are interested in setting up a business in, you will create a list of benefits and a list of features you come across in your market research. You will come across these items usually in sales letters and bullet points. Sales letters are built mainly to advertise the features of the product sold. Use the work booklet I have supplied you with to write down these items. Below is an example of how you would go about using the work book. What are the benefits being promoted in this sales letter? What are emotional triggers that the sales copy uses to get across the benefits? These answers are found very easily in clickbank sales letters that have bullet points (all the proper clickbank sales letters have bullet points that advertise the features and benefits of the product). Books with a Table of Contents (such as “For Dummies” or “idiot’s guide”) are also obvious giveaways for finding benefits that people want to achieve.
