Slide 2: Lesson materials are available everywhere. Teachers can browse for Internet lessons, create their own, or download ready-made lessons from the Resource section in eI Community. Log on to: www.einstruction.com and go to the home page.

When the eI registration screen appears, if it is your first time there, Click on “Register Today”.
Slide 4: Complete the Registration form and click on “Submit” at the bottom. After registering, log-in and enter the eI Community.

Slide 5: Click on the “Resources” along the top. A dropdown box will appear. Click on “Search Resources”.

Slide 6: Type in key search words and select the appropriate levels or content areas below.

Then, click “Search Resources” at the bottom
Slide 7: Lessons and images that met your search criteria will be displayed. Click on the desired lesson or resource.

The lesson can be opened for a single use or saved to a folder for future use, and accessed by going to Menu>File>Open.

Saved lessons can also be modified at any time by the teacher.

There are several ways to create your own lessons in Workspace. One of these is to use materials found in the Gallery. To access the Gallery, click on the Gallery icon in your toolbar.

When the 2nd window opens, you can choose from further topics and sub-topics, and then, see a preview of the image in the lower window.

When you find an image you want, click and drag it onto the Workspace blank page.

You can import an image and create a series of layers using the Layering tool at the bottom of the Workspace screen. Each layer has another detail, fact, or concept to be added or revealed as part of the lesson.

a layered lesson, click on the eInstruction icon at the bottom of your computer screen, the Device Manager window will open. Scroll up and click on “Workspace”. When your toolbar appears, click on the “Create New Page” icon and a new blank page with your toolbar along the side will appear.

Slide 18: To begin creating, import (copy) an image and drag or paste it onto the blank page. This will be Layer 1. Click on the + sign in the layer toolbar.

Slide 19: After clicking on the + sign, Layer 2 will be added. On this layer, the first term in the center can be revealed. Click on the + again.

created a lesson to use with your students. By clicking on the SRS icon, you can now actively engage your students in a verbal or chalkboard CPS activity.
