It was repaired and resurfaced using the FGS grinding and polishing system. I have been associated with epoxy sealers, carpet and tile in the retailing business and I think this floor is about the easiest to maintain I've ever seen. “We clean the floor nightly using a dry push broom. Then every week or two, our floor crew comes in with a wet mop. That's all we need to keep the floor looking great. This area is used for prototype building and is a lab for testing new products. Within this area, we have a lot of machine shop type of activity: metal shears, grindings, metal drops on the floor, heavy forklift traffic, and carts and wood boxes full of metal parts. “The FGS floor has worked out great for us! It seems to be impervious to the floor-damaging culprits we face on an everyday basis. The other thing we appreciate is that, even when the floor is wet, it's still not slippery. This floor system is amazing. It looks clean and still shines all the time, even when it's dirty! We don't have to paint it. All we have to do is wash it. I'd say that pretty low maintenance! It just makes good sense. “We clean our FGS floor every day with a dry dust mop and two times a week with a wet mop and water with a mild detergent. This cleaning regimen seems to work well for us, using a minimum of labor cost and the floor always shines. The type of outdoor furniture we sell here is a nice mix of medium and high-end lines. A lot of the tables and chairs are wrought iron and we constantly drag them around the showroom with no damage to the floor.
