Normally you open the cash building page and it starts with a story about how some high school drop out figured out a way to make money online and now he wants to share it with you for a small fee of $35, its criminal how many people fall for this. If you take some time to scan the internet you will be amazed by how many high school drop outs there are that have stumbled across this magical secret, it makes me wish I had left school to (only joking). I laugh when I see the same pictures on their sites, normally stood next to a sports car with a large house in the back ground or they are on the beach with their families. I don't want to insult your intelligence because like I said I have been there to, I've paid for them and got nothing in return and then felt foolish straight after. So what will these articles offer you. I will give you great advice and guidance I will also give you honesty. So read on if you are serious about making a go of it online, I hope you do because I really want to help you and offer you some real value. Ill start at the beginning and I will assume you are either completely new to this or still a bit wet behind the ears.
Slide 2: Before you can get online your going to need a hosting account, I prefer to use hostgator.com, if you search them they are easy to find, there are 3 packages but I go for the middle of the 3, the baby croc one, I think its about $8-9 a month and for this you get unlimited domain name hosting meaning once you get into this you can host as many sites as you like. The other reason I recommend this is because you can just pay a monthly recurring price you aren't tied into a contract meaning if you try this and don't like it you aren't stuck with a years worth of payments, I can't recommend them highly enough. Just so you know I haven't made the site name a direct link to them because I don't want you thinking I'm advertising for them or getting anything out of it, its just that's who I use, so for simplicity it would be best if you used them to. So how do we make money on the internet? that is the million dollar question, well I fell into the trap when I first started off building a great looking site, filling it with affiliate links and then expecting everyone to just stumble across it and buy buy buy, I of course I never made a single sale, and looking back I really did offer nothing of value at all. Now I know what I am doing I am doing much much better, I`m no millionaire but its meant I can earn a nice amount of extra money. So what am I doing now thats different? "I'M BUILDING MY LIST", I'll assume you don't know what that means so I`ll explain. I have designed many squeeze pages in various niches and on each squeeze page I offer a free gift related to that niche, all the visitor has to do is enter their name and email address to access the free gift, normally an ebook of some sort, once this is done they are added to my list and I know that in future I can send them a mail offering similar products in that niche but this time for a price. Do you see the power of this now? the beauty is the whole system is automated, I use a device called an auto responder which can be pre loaded with content and offers, I tell it when to send the mails out and then just forget about. One thing I must stress though is always offer products relevant to that niche, if you are offering a free book about digital cameras, don't then start mailing them with pet grooming products, AND I must stress this, you MUST OFFER THEM VALUE, I send out many mails to my list and I nurture them and don't insult them, if everything is just sell sell sell they will see straight through you, you MUST provide value, I provide articles like this, I include my email address for advice, I write a weekly newsletter for one of my golfing lists. I hope all this is a good realisation for you though because I really do want to help guide you, this goes to show there is a lot of work involved but the rewards are great, unlike these sites that try and sell you a magic system or ready made cash builder website, I will always be honest with you.
