You need to take the manufacturer's propaganda with a grain of salt, or at least check to make sure they are not just blowing smoke. So I did check it out. I went to many camera review sites to find out what the review pros had to say. They were in agreement that this is one fine camera. Here's what the photo geek at DigitalCameraReview had to say about this amazing camera: "...if picture quality, easy of use, and performance are your primary concerns, buying this PowerShot is also the safest bet around: it's an unquestionably powerful camera with few blemishes, and thus a buying decision that few buyers (who aren't put off by its looks, size, or noise, perhaps) will have reason to regret." I also checked what the buyers of the product said about their purchase. I found that users' reviews at DPReview.com had rated the camera at 4+ stars (out of 5 possible). And if you read the reviews at Amazon.com, you will find similar results. In fact, an amazing 89% of buyers who chose to leave a review rated the PowerShot SX110 at 4 or 5 stars (out of 5 possible). Slide 2: There is a huge number and variety of compact digital cameras. To pick a good one is sometimes a daunting task. You could run down to your local Best Buy or Target and pick up the one that is on sale at the moment. Chances are you will get a camera that takes decent photos for putting online at Walgreen's or Facebook for you friends and family to view. But if you want a camera that takes consistently great pictures and has a feature set that puts you, the photographer, in the driver's seat, then consider the Canon PowerShot SX110 IS.
