If you are dating someone you like or someone you will meet for the first time, chances are you will feel anxious and apprehensive about it. These things are normal, human reactions. This leaves a person even more frightened about the idea of dating and may never want to date again. One thing that a person needs to have when dating is confidence. Physical signs such as blushing and excessive sweating. b.) Thinking that everyone is looking at you. c.) Extreme pessimism, gloomy thoughts, anxiety. If you feel that you have those three, chances are you have a case of "dating sickness." If you feel that you cannot bear the idea of having a date because of shyness, you could consult a hypnotherapist for it. Hypnotherapists use hypnosis as part of a treatment regimen for extreme shyness. They help you clear your thoughts and overcome your pessimistic barriers which are possibly brought about by bad memories which have occurred even as early as childhood. There are two prominent type of hypnosis, first one is suggestive and the second one, analytical. While clearing your mind, you are also encouraged to imagine yourself being confident and composed whenever faced with a stressful event. Believe it or not, you can also do a minor self-hypnosis by facing the mirror and saying all the positive things you can find about yourself. This will help you appreciate yourself even better and know your strengths and weaknesses. It will help you boost not only your self-confidence but also your self-esteem.
