Verinon's partnership with both EMC Documentum as well as Microsoft uniquely positions us to bridge two ideally suited offerings. As Documentum evolves, what is clearly apparent is EMC's continued commitment to creating a product with a set of robust gateways, allowing organizations the use of Documentum as a centralized repository for any content that could have been introduced directly into EMC Documentum from an existing ERP or even other similar products. Microsoft SharePoint MOSS increasingly continues to be the software industry's preferred portal solution. As such, SharePoint is uniquely suited to facilitate a collaborative environment where the objective is not to replicate a set of stored information but to facilitate a process where multiple people, each with varying access rights and privileges are collaborating on the same one set of information. When viewed in conjunction SharePoint and Documentum are clearly complimentary, where one can serve as the central repository for all information, while the other serves as a doorway to view this information. This need has led to the creation of the Verinon's ShareTop framework, which enables both internal and external members of the same company but also partners, clients or suppliers secure and managed access to the information stored in an EMC Documentum environment. We accomplish this by using a Microsoft SharePoint MOSS based presentation layer that acts in many cases as an alternative to Documentum WebTop. When one approaches options around deploying two different platforms, there can be issues associated with either integration or which platform has the sole valid copy. But, it also presents flexibility where in some instances the combined SharePoint and Documentum platform allows for some instances where some artifacts are better off stored in Microsoft SharePoint MOSS rather than in the central repository of EMC Documentum. This could prove to be an issue for some organizations where it not only further fragments of the location of data, but it also creates further complexities in being able to locate the correct document. The prospective user is now at the mercy of not one, but both EMC Documentum and Microsoft SharePoint MOSS search facilities. Hence, as an added option, the ShareTop framework also brings an element of enterprise search to attack this issue by integrating the Google Search Appliance (GSA). This feature allows a user to perform a single search from the ShareTop platform and simultaneously search multiple EMC Documentum repositories or Microsoft SharePoint MOSS sites.

Beyond its collaboration and content management features, Microsoft SharePoint MOSS has proven to be a very flexible and malleable platform from which to build a variety of workflow products that are ideal to structure and traffic a variety of documents. The current offerings are: InvoiceTraffic A customizable and configurable platform that does scanning, OCR, and workflow of invoice coupled with approval level hierarchy and time and money based configurable escalation rules. ExpenseTraffic This customizable and configurable platform allows for a seamless capture scanning of receipts in an expense report as well as an online capture or where necessary a scanning, OCR, and workflow of expense report itself coupled with appropriate hierarchy routing. ClaimsTraffic Is a workflow product to accept, route and store in the appropriate claims document in the appropriate file in addition to managing claims related expenses through the proper claims organization hierarchy.
ERoom to Share Point Migration Tool
This application provides the ultimate content migration solution for Microsoft Share Point Products and Technologies. It constitutes a standalone application designed for the rapid content migration from multiple eRoom Server 7.3 to Moss 2007. Basically it (e2s) is divided into two modules, 1. 2. eRoom Extractor. Share Point Importer.
eRoom Extractor will extract the content from the eRoom Server. It will read all the eRoom content along with their ownership information and Access Controls of each and every object and generates XML file for each and every eRoom with respective eRoom content. This module is capable of handling the user's extraction from eRoom along with their roles and differentiates between Local/Native and ADS users. The user can generate the different types of reports like eRoom object summary/detailed reports and Users summary/detailed reports. Generate the extraction status report and log file for each and every eRoom object during the extraction process. Share Point Importer on the other hand reads each and every data Extracted/ generated from eRoom as a XML file at a time and constructs the Share Point sites, sub sites and add the users according to the eRoom hierarchy. Apart from the above two modules we added one more module for distributed eRoom Environment. This module constitutes three Web Services to be installed on each and every eRoom File Server to extract the eRoom Server content.

The First Web service will return an xml that contains the whole eRoom Information. The Second Web Service returns an xml that contains the users, objects data of the eRoom for generation of the Reports. And the Third Web Service will return an xml file for each eRoom.
Claims Management System (TRIDEO)
The Claims Management System is a web-based application (built on C#, Vb.net, ASP.NET etc) designed to manage the Incidents, Claims and associated litigation arising from hospital incidents. The application architecture is designed to serve as a foundation for expanding the application to handle various lines of business claims – Auto, Workers Compensation. The first release of the application will limit the focus to Medical Malpractice claims which includes Incident management, claims management & litigation management. The three primary goals of the application architecture and functionality may be summarized as follows: 1. 2. 3.
