I joined a MLM company in my 20's, was left behind by my sponsor with no training and no clue what to do. I lost a lot of money, and vowed to never try network marketing again. My Biggest Complaint When joining a MLM company, the first thing you are told to do is share the product with your friends and family. So I was pushing vitamins, energy drinks, weight loss pills, or any of the consumable products the company offered. So I would say, "Mom, I know you can buy these vitamins at Walmart for $12.50, but will you buy these from me even though they are $30. Please, for me, I am your daughter." So the guilt trip would work for a couple of months, but then they would go back to their standard brand. Why join an MLM? People don't join MLM's to "get rich quick". People join to build a residual income. The dream is to earn a monthly commission check even when you aren't working. So I can lie on the beach for a week, and still make money even though I am not working. Cha-ching! Who wouldn't want that? Who is Momentis? Momentis is a Dallas, Texas based marketing company owned by Just Energy based in Ontario, Canada. Just Energy is a publicly traded (NYSE:JE) energy company founded in 1997. They supply natural gas, and electricity all over deregulated territories in Canada and the United States. They are the fastest growing energy company in North America. Momentis offers services that are a necessity in any household. They offer electricity, natural gas through Just Energy, television through DirecTV, 4G internet services through Clear Wireless, home and cell phone services and many, many more. What changed my mind? I have never thought of myself as a salesperson, and I didn't like pushing anything on my friends. In reviewing Momentis, I found it unique and an incredibly different MLM. Since Momentis offers necessities and not luxuries, my residual income can survive a declining economy. This gives me security for my future. Do you pay an electric bill? I do. Do you pay a gas
Slide 2: bill? Yeah, me too. Do you pay a phone bill? Weird, I do too. Do you pay a cell phone bill? Okay, this is kinda creepy. I pay for one of those too. You get my point! This company gives anybody the opportunity to offer the same quality services mentioned above, but at a lower price. I feel great about saving my friends and family money on the essential bills they MUST PAY FOR EVERY MONTH! The most exciting product is the EnergyMizer. This saves commercial businesses a minimum of 8% on their electric bill or kilowatt usage. A restaurant company I am working with will save around $700,000 per year! Wow! I am also a customer. For example, when I pay my DIRECTV bill, I actually get a little of that payment back into my pocket. So being a customer truly pays! My Final Answer Joining Momentis was a no-brainer for me! Through this company, a true residual income can be built. I don't have to chase down my friends to make sure they continue to buy my consumable product. So it is truly a business on auto-pilot! How to Choose the MLM Company that is Right for You? Momentis may not be for everyone. So here are a few helpful areas that helped me make my decision. Recession Proof Products. Ask yourself, "Is it a product or service my customer will continue to buy if they lost their job?" If it isn't, then expect a decline over time in monthly commissions. Competitive Niche. First, you must believe in the company's products or services. Would you be a customer even if you weren't a distributor for the company? Secondly, how many competitors are in the same niche? There are a lot of vitamin companies, energy drink, weight loss, etc. Choose a company that will give you leverage from the day you join. Company Financial Stability. Do your homework and ensure the company has strong financial backing. If you are going to put forth the work to build your business, make sure it will be around long enough to support your goals. What level of training does the company offer? Ask your potential sponsor, "What type of training can you offer me?" They need to offer more than the standard webinar or company conferences. Network marketing isn't easy and training is a necessity to become a star player in the game. Good luck in your search! Network marketing is very challenging but the rewards are worth it.
