Who else is struggling to write articles that sell? Do you spend hours and hours thinking up great article titles, writing quality content, submitting them with great expectations and enthusiasm.....ONLY to find out that they're NOT getting read, not getting interest and MOST importantly, not getting traffic that makes you money? If you believe the majority of the article marketing advice out there is GOOD......think AGAIN! The truth is, I've written so many articles over the years that my finger tips are imprinted with the English Alphabet. It's been HARD work...and taken many hours to refine, improve and perfect....but the result has been MILLIONS of readers in tens of niches and over 5000 unique articles on ONE directory alone. That using phrases like "click here" or "join now" or "learn more" are BAD for article marketing "SEO". The truth? That works for amateurs, and people who may not know better.....but if you are REALLY trying to build a business on the firm foundation and broad shoulders of article marketing, you ONLY care about click through rate.....PERIOD. In other words, I don't care what those words are, the ONLY way you are going to get traffic is by using call to action words that resonate with your niche. If they don't click......you don't get traffic, period. And believe it or not, using your "brand" or keyword friendly anchor text has a much lower conversion rate than using boilerplate, generic text that commands attention. (i.e. - the types of phrases that most article marketing gurus are telling you to avoid) Here is an example: A few years ago, we ran an article marketing campaign that generated OVER 1.2 million readers in less than 12 months. The resource box that WORKED, had a two word generic call to action phrase that was getting a 25% click through rate. (or was responsible for 2 hundred THOUSAND visitors) The keyword friendly anchor text (or our URL at the time) had a click through rate of UNDER 8%, meaning it was dramatically UNDERPERFORMING the other by a factor of 300%....and it cost us tons of traffic, opt in's and income. The truth is, don't listen to me....or anyone else. You've got to test what works best for YOUR articles, for your niche, and for your style. There are
