Slide 2: Lillian Gertrud Asplund was the last person to survivor from Titanic. She lost her father and 3 brothers that time she escaped from sinking ship. Asplund's mother, Selma, and another brother, Felix, who was 3 survived on the Titanic that sinking in the early morning of April 15, 1912. The She was thinking of the past of what happen to Titanic. She lived in Massachusetts until she died on May 6th, 2006.
Slide 3: Only 705 of 2,227 people on board survived. What percentage is that? Women/Children First class Second class Steerage Crew 94% 81% 47% 87% Men 31% 10% 14% 22% Total 60% 44% 25% 24% There was not enough of lifeboat for people to get on.
Slide 4: The Captains on the board who didn’t see iceberg until they got closer to iceberg and saw then rang the bell then told the other Captain to turn but it was too late and hit iceberg in right side and it cracked inside and the water flooded and Titanic was long way to sink for 3 hours. 50% of people are survivor and other 50% of people died.
Slide 5: Titanic stopped at Cherbourg, France and Queenstown, Ireland to pick up passengers. Titanic destination was New York then sank 1000 miles in east of Boston, Massachusetts, and 375 miles southeast of St. John's, Newfoundland.
Slide 6: The ship sank at 2:20 AM on April 15, 1912
