While some people are already well on the way to their financial goals, most are still left scratching their heads somehow, especially the new comers. Many of us know we need to find leads, or potential customers, then convert them into sales in order to make money. But without a systematic approach, most new marketers simply don't know what to do. And some experienced people don't know what to do with the knowledge they already have. Such feeling is like that we have all the puzzle pieces but don't have a single clue of how to put them together. Thus the said marketers are turning to buying leads from an MLM lead generation company, or trying to get free home based business lead from anywhere that gives them out, since these look like the easier and time-saving alternatives. But are they? Nothing wrong with either approach. Buying leads is just that - buying leads. And you get what you pay for in the best case scenario. The worse is that you pay too much; the worst is that you pay for useless ones. Check the credibility of a seller first, then buy the type of leads that suits your business best. Also, before you buy, make sure you have a marketing channel set up in order to complete the selling cycles with every lead you get. This part, however, can take some work and guaranteed to be somewhat confusing to new marketers. Getting free leads, on the other hand, is all about HOW you get them. I don't recommend what I call "Panhandling Leads," which are leads that are given out for free, or as a bonus for joining or signing up for something. These leads are usually outdated and non-exclusive at best, if not completely worthless. I don't want to say for sure that all of them are not good, but I seldom see a good list of Panhandling Leads. With that said, there are certainly quality leads for free out there. You just have to take some time to work for them, using online marketing strategies that don't cost money, such as social media marketing. You see, technically they are not exactly free, but you'll be rewarded again and again for your one-time hard work given that you do them right. Then quality leads will pour in consistently day after day, 24/7. No pain, no gain. It's that simple. Many top internet marketers are already offering tutorials, seminars, articles, or mentoring programs to teach internet marketing. Make sure you have a chance to "test drive" before you spend money on any of them, because some are designed for beginners while others are for intermediate or advanced marketers. You have to find your fit because online marketing will become the foundation of your online business, regardless of its nature.
