Many people have spent a lot of time and money keeping up with their hobbies, however, did you know that many of the hobbies that you spent money on could be used to make money FOR YOU? Let's Take a Look at some of these Hobbies That Make Money: Crocheting, of course, is probably the highest paying hobby. The items that can be made from fairly inexpensive, yet durable, washable crochet thread include such things as: Bedspreads, Curtains, Couch Covers, Tablecloths. These items can be sold for hundreds of dollars. Not bad for something that can be completed in less than a month, in your spare time! Quilting should also be on your short list of hobbies that make money. The fine art of quilting is fast becoming a lost art in today's fast paced world. Many people would love to have a hand-made quilt. And, when you think about the fact that many of these quilts used to be made with LEFTOVERS. Think about the profitabilities! Baby Quilts, anyone? What other hobbies that make money are there? I think you know that well made, hand-sewn (or knitted) clothing usually lasts longer and can be sold for about the same, and, usually less than those purchased at department stores or even on-line stores. Think about the fun, the networking possibilities of sewing the Wedding Dresses, Bridesmaids dresses for the next wedding in your circle of friends. What about prom dresses at the local High School? Of course, the things that can be knitted and then sold at swap meets/Flea markets throughout the country, or, a very inexpensive web site could be set up to sell these items and that can work for you all the time. Knitted items include such things as baby hats, sweaters, mittens. All these things, and more, are necessary when you live in some of the colder areas. People would appreciate these hand made items to mass-produced ones any day of the week! Gift Baskets play a very important role in society. Take then baskets that you have weaved, dress them up and fill them with things that people need but seldom think about buying for themselves. These baskets are usually decorated with appliqué, ribbons or even a little paint and then packed with things that go together. Combinations, such as bath oils, perfumes, skin care items, can be creatively displayed and marketed at Swap Meets or, again, over the internet. These are nice gifts for people to buy their friends year round! The last item on this list of hobbies that make money is Gardening. Think about it. You have spent a bit of time tilling, weeding, pruning and making the best things to make your garden/house look like a green paradise. Share this with others (for a profit!) You have extra seedlings, or you can

For many people, I bet you could! A final note about some simple ideas: woodworking can be a valuable skill to have to help people for a modest income potential. Wreath Making is something that is usually holiday related but there are people that can take care of their gift giving from income from this very fun hobby.
