Slide 1: How to Get a Flat Stomach Fast - Tips for Your Success One of the hardest areas to lose fat on your body is the abdominal region. Everyone one wants a flat stomach but it is very hard to obtain if you don't know what to do. This is mainly the case because it requires lots of discipline and dedication. Discipline in that, most people want to be able to eat what they want, and what they want seems to be foods that are unhealthy and do nothing but contribute to weight gain. Dedication in that, if they do find a solution to their problem, it is usually something that they have to stick with for an extended period of time. They may even have to make a lifestyle change. If the dedication to making that necessary change is lacking, failure is imminent. I will tell you how to get a flat stomach fast but you have to provide the discipline and dedication to make it all come together. We all love "junk" food. Potato chips, hamburgers, French fries, my personal favorite, cookies and milk. But though these foods give us that instant gratification of "feel good", it makes us feel bad in the long run, because we step on the scale and see where all that junk food ended up. It's right there on our hips, thighs, behinds, and especially our stomach. We end up feeling miserable and fat. Therefore, the first tip on how to get a flat stomach fast is to really start to pay attention to your diet--the foods and drinks that you are putting into your body. One example is to skip the junk food and consume more fruits and vegetables. Maybe you have a "sweet tooth"? Guess what? Your body doesn't know the difference in sugar. Instead of eating that donut or cookie, eat an apple or an orange. Eventually, you won't even crave the donuts and cookies anymore. The same thing goes for what you drink. Cut back on the sodas and fruit juices, of which most contain a ton of sugar. Water is the best thing you can drink. Drink flavored water if you must substitute. Personally I prefer just plain water with no additives. Another great tip on how to get a flat stomach fast is to get some exercise daily. At least 30 minutes of aerobics a day is good. You can do anything that gets your heart rate up--cycling, running, dancing, tae bo--things of that nature. Also, vary your abdominal exercises. Different exercises work different regions of the abdomen. For example, most people do crunches, but crunches work best for the upper abdominal area. Leg raises are best for the lower area and side bends work the obliques (what we call the "love handles"). Switch up the routine in order to see results because if you just focus on doing one, you won't see overall change because you are only working one area.
