Slide 2: So, What IS Six Sigma Certification? It is a self-paced online training course that includes certification exam of Lean Six Sigma. You take and master the material at your own pace, whether from work or home, anywhere in the world. You can download the material, as well. Once you feel comfortable with your mastery, you can sit the exam (you get the Green Belt or Black Belt certification depending upon the grades you make), to get Black Belt you need a passing grade of over 70%. Another part of the certification is a paper that you need to present about a project you're involved in, the paper will be reviewed as part of the certification process.
