Due to the severity of the pain of gout, gout cures are a must. The pain is pretty awful. Even that's an understatement. I've had a few bouts of gout over the last three years or so. Now I want to help you with gout cures to suit you. Let me ask you something. Have you ever had swollen joints? If so, was the pain the pain unbearable, especially when something touched off the affected area? If this is (or was) the case, then you might have (or had) gout. The thing with gout is that it usually comes back again and again. Sometimes when it reoccurs, it can become more severe each time. When the pain sets in, you have no choice because you have to do something about it. The pain is just that unbearable. So you set about looking for gout cures. The first place you generally go to is your doctor. As gout is more a preventable disease, there's no wonder drug to cure it. So your doctor prescribes an anti-inflammatory to help reduce swelling, tenderness and pain. It works. But it isn't a cure. It serves as a way to get over gout quicker, until it returns again. The only gout cures available are natural gout remedies. The first place to start with is you food. The reason food is important is because there is a direct relationship between gout and food. Let me explain briefly before delving into any gout cures. Your body produces purine. This is a chemical that changes the food you eat into energy. When the purine has done its job, it turns into uric acid. Gout occurs if there is too much purine because this turns into excess uric acid that transforms itself into uric acid crystals. It's these crystals that settle on your joints, which in turn causes gout. That's the very quick explanation of how gout comes about. Does everyone become affected by gout? Some young adults can be affected by gout, though this is rare enough. Older (middle-aged people) become more easily affected. However, mostly men of 40 years of age or more are at the greatest risk, especially if overweight. Also women are also at risk when they pass their menopausal stage. Are there any gout cures? Gout cures are more like gout preventatives. There's no known cure for gout. So the best way to get rid of gout is through your diet. By that I mean, avoid or reduce certain food types to prevent or reduce the onset of gout.
Slide 2: Let me ask you something else. If you know how painful and debilitating gout is, are you willing to put forth some effort on a consistent basis to cure your gout? It will not take massive effort. Just make one small change at a time, over time. That's the key to sticking with it. These small incremental changes take much less effort on your part. So maybe in week 1, change one thing. Then in week 2, change another while keeping the first thing you changed in place. You continue this until you have made all desired changes. What are these changes? Diet. Or should I say more specifically, your food intake. This isn't a diet. It's more of a diet change so that you can cut out or reduce the foods that are the greatest contributors to the condition known as gout. If you remember, I talked about purine produced by your body, the excess of which turns into uric acid crystals that settle on your joints. This causes gout. Purine is also found in most types of food. Some food has small amounts. Others have large doses of it. You can't avoid taking in purine. However, you can reduce its intake and therefore either reduce the recurrence of gout or prevent it altogether. There are other gout remedies available. However, the focus of this article is just one remedy. Food is the greatest contributor. So let's look at what foods to either avoid or reduce: * Alcohol, especially beer as contains 7 - 8 times more purine than it does alcohol. * Poultry. Chicken and turkey are thought to contain moderately excessive amounts of purine. * Red meat * Yeast * Some types of seafood, salmon, shellfish, mackerel and herring That's just some food types that go some way to increasing your chances of getting gout. So avoiding, or reducing, these foods will go a long way toward your search for gout cures.
There are a number of gout cures available, and all natural too. If you would like a more thorough report for free then just go to this site to get your free report on gout cures that work.
