Slide 1: Adirondack Mountain Community Library We move mountains to serve you!
Slide 2: Presentation to AMCL’s Advisory Board AMCL’s Strategic Plans will be initially unveiled to the AMCL Advisory Board during the regularly scheduled monthly meeting. The information and data material collected will be bound as printed material and copies will be given to all in attendance during a live power point presentation. Supportive documentation will be incorporated into the slide presentation. Poster graphs will be on display. Sample publicity media material will also be circulated at the appropriate time during the meeting. A live webcast by a guest speaker will also be incorporated. Each member of AMCL’s management team will take part in the presentation. First - The CEO will speak first to introduce the background of, need for, and overview of the proposed strategic plans. Second - The Director of Research will then address the board to report on consultation and evidentiary proofs. Third - The Director of Branches will be introduced to convey how a plan of self-service will enhance library experiences. Fourth - the Director of Public Relations will address how this can affect public relations in the community and be a spring-board for greater public outreach. Finally - The CEO wraps up the meeting and opens it up to discussion.
Slide 3: Our Mission Adirondack Mountain Community Library’s mission is to serve the information needs of the Adirondack Mountain rural community in order to support the heritage, interests, and occupational pursuits of the citizens of this region through progressively modern facilities and technologies, aided and assisted by highly trained, professional staff. Adirondack Mountain Community Library is a visionary institution. This Strategic Plan represents a seedling effort that will blossom and potentially instill growth within the Adirondack Mountain Community.

What's the plan? Three components to our plan: 1. Online holds through catalog 2. Self-pickup shelf in each branch 3. Self checkout stations in each branch
