Slide 5: •Born 1st November, 1962 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Anthony - Biography •His parents divorced and he moved to LA to live with his father when he was 11 years old. •His father introduced him to drugs and he lost his virginity near to his 12th birthday to his father’s 18 year old girlfriend. •Attended Fairfax High School where he met Flea, Hillel Slovak and Jack Irons when he was 15. •Has starred in several small television/film roles as a teenager, under the name of “Cole Dammett”. •Originally, he introduced the band. •Has suffered from life-long drug addiction, but after numerous attempts at rehabilitation after Hillel Slovak died from a heroin overdose, he has kept clean since 24th December, 2000. •Wrote his full autobiography, Scar Tissue, in 2004. •Now lives in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles and recently married Melanie Ryan on 10th may, 2007.

Slide 9: •Born Michael Peter Balzary on 16th October, 1962 in Melbourne, Australia. •He moved to New York when he was 5 years old due to his father’s job. •His mother divorced and married a jazz musician, Walter Urban, making them move to LA. •Began to play the trumpet at 9 years old. •Was part of the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic Orchestra. •Hillel Slovak taught him how to play the bass guitar in 1978. •Has played small parts in lots of movies, including Back To The Future (II & III) •He married Loesha Zeviar in 1986 and had his first daughter, Clara in 1988. •He separated with Loesha in 1990, but they still remain good friends and have joint custody over Clara. •He had another baby girl, Sunny Bebop Balzary with his new fiancée Frankie Rayder in 2005. Slide 10: Flea – Position In The Band •He is the bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. •Occasionally plays the trumpet in some songs, and when playing live. •Is the only one to have remained in the band for the entire time since it was formed. •He has influenced several musicians with his fast approach to “popping and slapping”.

Slide 13: John Frusciante - Biography •He was born on 5th March, 1970 in Queens, New York. •Moved to LA at the age of 12 and at 16 he moved out to sharpen his musical skills and live in his own home with his parents support. •Joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers when he was 18 years old. •Suffered from severe drug addictions and left the band due to drugs and too much popularity. •He started recording albums around this time, for his single career that is still going strong today. •Returned to the Chilis after rehabilitation in 1997. •Was named the 18th greatest guitarist of all time in 2003 by Rolling Stone magazine. •Has been recognised internationally as a talented guitarist since the success of Stadium Arcadium.

Slide 17: •Born on 25th October, 1961 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. •His full name is Chad Gaylord Smith •He grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Chad - Biography •Whilst he was still at Lahser High School, he ran away from home for a period of time, later returning with a dog called, “Bong”. •Worked in a number of jobs, including GAP, whilst playing the drums in several local bands. •In his twenties, he moved to California, where his brother Brad lived. •He ended up in Los Angeles and joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers. •In 1994 he married Maria St. John and had one child, Manon St. John in 1997. •They divorced, but he remarried to an architect named Nancy on 8th may, 2004. •He has three other children, Justin (1998), Ava (2000) and Cole (2005)
