Slide 1: What was our most important lesson? Candice Hughes EVOC 501
Slide 2: Closing and Review     Promise you will never say: We have a problem. That’s the problem! The problem is…   The solution is our duty. Assuming we have the knowledge, we must show and help students:     Become empowered Gain ownership Understand societal change Recognize their locus of control
Slide 3: What was our most important lesson?    Write what you found to be most important on the 3x5 index card. Please stand up when you have finished. We will manually shuffle the deck.
Slide 4: What was our most important lesson?    “GO” = walk around and trade index cards. “STOP” = Stop and pair up with the person next to you. Read and Rank the two cards. They must equal “7” together!     Card A = 0, Card B=7 Card A=1, Card B =6 Card A=3, Card B=4 Card A =5, Card B=2  We will shuffle our deck 3 times.
Slide 5: What was our most important lesson? Add the 3 numbers together.  21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11… x/7 is its individual percent. x/21 is its ranking out of all the facts.  21 is the highest possible class ranking. (7 highest score* 3 shuffles) 
Slide 6: What do the numbers tell us? If you have …  Highs (20s) and lows (10s)  There was not enough clarification in lecture. Students are confused. Students weren’t paying attention. Everyone thinks everybody else’s comment is important. Students realized and understand the significance.  Lows (teens - 10s)     Highs (20s) to teens (19 – 15) 
