The above statement holds good because nowadays companies are moving upside down in search of highly skilled, competent, committed, and trusted executives who can lead their company towards profitable direction. Executive search may be executed by an organization’s board of directors, by executives in the organization, or by other executive search organization. But as usual searching for the right executive is not an easy task! Executive search is one of the biggest concerns for most of the companies facing downfall. Now-a-days getting desired executive is becoming a hectic, money and time consuming task for most of the companies. This concern for right executives has created space for executive search firms to come into picture and play an important role by providing their services for companies looking ahead for the same. One of the most important jobs that an executive search firm deals is in assessing the fit aspect of the potential individual to a particular position. It is important that this search is done efficiently so as to saves time and to identify key aspects of suitability such as qualifications, experience and the ability to lead. As we all know that the most important resource for any organization is its people, and the success of any company depends on having the right people, especially at the executive level. So it becomes very important to be attentive while selecting individuals at those levels. When we talk about executive level candidates, we see that executives can roughly be divided into two generations among all ethnic groups: 1. Executives older than 45. They may have strong contacts within certain industries, but tend to lack the classical leadership skills requested by multinational firms, so they are often considered past executives. 2. Executives 30-45 years old. The positive aspect of younger executives is that they often bring refreshing dynamism to business. On the other hand, they might bring a certain immaturity, inexperience and arrogance. This division is very general and executive recruitment is always a company specific task, but it is important to keep the history in mind.
