Slide 1: ==== ==== Looking for a solution to grow your own food year round? check this out http://37ecf0wthjskcx26omfi10cl28.hop.clickbank.net/ ==== ==== Get the family involved with an indoor vegetable garden this winter and enjoy year-round goodness from the comfort of the unused space in your home. From tomatoes to lettuce, carrots, broccoli, or one of a million other crops that can be grown indoors, finding the best ones for you depend on a couple of different factors. Learning a few tips can make this a great and affordable alternative waiting for summer to arrive. The first thing you need to do is have an idea of how much space you have available. Draw a diagram and look at planting directions to see what you can comfortably manage inside of your home. The last thing you want is to be overwhelmed with a crowded garden. It is not good for the plants, and it is not that good for the people either. Also, if you live in a colder and darker climate during the winter time, you will need to get a couple of grow lights. These substitute natural sunlight (which plants need) that is much less powerful during the winter. Additionally, try to put the garden in a spot where it will receive the most sunlight throughout the year. For most of us, this means a room on the south or southwest side of the house with plenty of windows. Temperature also has to be regulated as well. Once you've found your space, now it is time to think about what you want to grow. If you are doing this with kids, let them give some suggestions for veggies that they like. This will help them to become more interested and involved in the project. However, keep in mind that some veggies are easier to grow indoors than others, so you might have to work out some compromises. Lots of kids like corn and watermelon, however they are not all that practical to be growing inside of a house. Another consideration is that if you plant crops that require similar care, feeding and maintenance, you can save time and energy as well as money. Different plants require various amounts of water, sunlight and nutrients, and pairing up crops that are more compatible will make a big difference in they enjoyment you have with your indoor vegetable garden. This is a great way to stay healthy and creative during the long winter months, and is also a fantastic thing to do to get the whole family involved in a good activity.
