Slide 4: Objective: The students will practice asking for and giving directions.  (Can you / How can I get to…)  The students will listen for information and record.  The students will complete a tasked based role play activity. 

Slide 7: Practice / Study Students discuss the answers in pairs.  Listen again and check.  Students practice using language gaps (controlled Practice) 
Slide 8: Produce / Activate Students in pairs practice asking and giving directions using a map cloze.  Matching exercise using the textbook (pictures/words). 
Slide 9: Follow up: (Personalize) Use subway maps or local maps and ask for directions to where they shop / home etc… (authentic materials) 

Slide 13: Prepare / Engage TPR – review the bingo sheet with “What am I doing”  Have student(s) review and practice.  Review with a ppt (pairs) 
Slide 14: Practice / Study Play the bingo game  Review the picture vocabulary and play the game as a whole class. 
Slide 15: Produce / Activate Students play the Bingo game in pairs  Conclude with one whole class review game. 
Slide 17: Follow up: (Personalize)  Students design their own Bingo sheet and play!
