This advanced solution uses a completely touch-screen driven medication dispensing process. Virtual pocket technology provides a visual roadmap for users, eliminating the need to type and search for medications. Anesthesia-Rx operates on the Connect-Rx® software platform using the formulary, filling and inventory functionality. The integration through Connect-Rx gives the pharmacy visibility into the inventory and initiates restocking when inventory is low. This system perfectly complements the AcuDose-Rx® medication dispensing cabinets with similar pharmacy related workflow. With only two touches, anesthesia providers have quick access the their medications and narcotics in the operating room. To quickly and safely dispense medications and narcotics, anesthesia providers: • Securely log on with a user name and password • Unlock the cart to ensure the cart will not lock at any time during the case • Select the patient at the beginning of the procedure • Open the appropriate drawer • Touch the medication name on the screen to open the corresponding pocket • Remove the medication from the pocket • Touch the screen to confirm quantity dispensed Locked Pocket Configurations • Top 1 - 4 drawers may be configured with locking pockets • Single, double and quad pockets are available – Single 3.2”w x 2.35”l x 1.65”h – Double 3.2”w x 6.05”l x 1.65”h – Quad 6.65”w x 6.05”l x 1.65”h Anesthesia-Rx Two-Touch Dispensing System Anesthesia-Rx Two-Touch Dispensing System TOUCH 1: Select the medication.
