Slide 1: Tri-City Christian School, A Christian School In North San Diego County, Receives A Generous Technology Donation Tri-City Christian School, a Christian School in North San Diego County will now use the the Apple iPod touch, as an educational tool in the classroom. Tri-City Christian School, a Christian School in North San Diego County, has received a generous donation that will enable our second graders to initiate the use of the handheld device, the Apple iPod touch, as an educational tool in the classroom. Peggy and Eddie Means have blessed our students with this gift in honor of Peggy’s father, Norman D. Smith. Mr. Smith had a passion for technology, and the money given in his name has been used to purchase a classroom set of the Apple iPod touch, a mobile charging cart, and various applications to enhance learning for all students in second grade. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Means! Two of our teachers, Mrs. Peggy Means and Ms. Cyndi Ferguson, attended an Apple educational technology conference this summer to learn more about how handheld devices are impacting the future of education. They are excited to share this knowledge with students in the classroom! Through the generosity and vision of others, our students will be blessed.
