Slide 1: Why are Jellyfish Called Jellyfish? Created by: Click to edit Master subtitle style Nathan Ward (Producer) 8/30/11
Slide 2: MyPlick • A MyPlick is a Movie file based off of slides from PowerPoint After creating a PowerPoint with all the slides required, load it here Then create an audio file and upload it here I made this slideshow with this program • • • 8/30/11
Slide 3: Glogster • Glogster is a website where you load pictures and other information onto a virtual poster You can create good looking online posters with this program You can add text Pictures and backgrounds can also be added In relation to my topic, I could use this to describe the jellyfish, and include pictures 8/30/11 • • • •
Slide 4: Xtranormal • In this tool on the web, people can create a 3d movie by just recording their voices and using characters to create a movie People can be added to any of many different scenes like these In this program, I could make a few people ask each other about why Jellyfish are called that • • 8/30/11
Slide 5: Animoto • I could create an Animoto to describe the jellyfish, and show perhaps why it is called that It creates a slideshow of pictures It them compiles them into a slideshow of your pictures and adds music The finished product looks like this • • • 8/30/11
Slide 6: • Google Website A google website is created if you sign in, fill out a short form, use your google account (gmail) and it is made • Pages can be added by using a button off the side of the screen at this point Text can be added here Other documents can be added by using a tab off the left side off the screen This could be useful to load pictures and other 8/30/11 • • •
Slide 7: My Reflection Paragraph My fingers are flying across the keys as I type. “One more minute until dinner mom!” I say to her as I finish this project. I discovered five new ways of making interesting, unique projects. One was a MyPlick, which is what you are now watching. Another way is glogster. A glog (similar to a poster on the internet) is a great way to share information in a fun, engaging method. XtraNormal might also be a good way to create a 3d movie that appeals to all audiences. An Animoto is a collection of pictures that have been compiled into a short movie with sound added in the background. A google website is a website that is created using a google account and is a great way to share information with the world. Any of these other methods could be posted onto a google website. As I wash my hands before dinner, I say to myself, I should use these on my next project. I probably will. 8/30/11
