The third in the equation is Triglycerides; Triglycerides are blood fats and keeping these levels low is recommended as higher triglycerides can contribute a greater risk for heart disease, stroke and even diabetes. The bulk of cholesterol is actually made in your own body, specifically in the liver. And some of cholesterol comes from the foods you eat.
