Both of these exercises have many benefits but each has its own set of benefits as well. First, here is a rundown on the benefits of walking. Walking is great because it is easy and it something you already know how to do and do on a daily basis. The walking you do in a normal day is probably not enough to reap the benefits you are looking for so putting some time aside everyday just to walk is a good idea. All you need is a good pair of walking shoes and loose fitting clothing to allow flexibility. Walking raises the heart rate, induces sweating to release toxins from the body and targets almost the whole body for a, easy and effective workout. You can choose what pace you want to walk but the faster you walk; the more calories you will burn and the quicker your muscles will become tone! Swimming is much like walking in that it targets the whole body. Swimming is the best exercise to reduce weight because you use more muscles and when in the water, you are always moving whether you realize it or not! The great thing about swimming is there are so many different exercises you can do in the water and because it takes more energy to move while in water, more calories are burned and your muscles will get toned quicker. Swimming is not as accessible as walking because not everyone has a pool or lives close to a beach. Some hotels offer the option for people to buy monthly pool passes that allow you to access the pool as much as you went when it is open. Universities also have swimming pools and may offer a similar deal. So there you have it, two of the best exercises to lose weight fast! Employing one or both of these into your routine at least 4 times a week will ensure you get in shape for no time!
