Slide 1: Strategy vs. Stragedy strat⋅ e⋅ gy   [strat-i-jee] –noun, plural -gies. 1.Also, strategics. the science or art of combining and employing the means of war in planning and directing large military movements and operations. 2.the use or an instance of using this science or art. 3.skillful use of a stratagem: The salesperson's strategy was to seem always to agree with the customer. 4.a plan, method, or series of maneuvers or stratagems for obtaining a specific goal or result: a strategy for getting ahead in the world. strag⋅ e⋅ dy  [straj-i-dee] –not a word 1.a dramatic composition, often in verse, dealing with a serious or sombre theme, typically that of a great strategy destined through a flaw of planning or conflict with some overpowering force, as humour or apathy, to downfall or destruction. 2.the branch of the drama that is concerned with this form of composition. 3.the art and theory of writing and producing stragedies. 4.any literary composition, as a novel, dealing with a sombre theme carried to a humorous or apathetic conclusion. 5.the humorous or apathetic element of drama, of literature generally, or of life.
