Slide 1: Barry Bonds
As a PR practitioner, I recommend that baseball player, Barry Bonds, apologize for his alleged steroid use. He should speak out about how he was unaware that he was using steroids. He could do this by explaining that his exercise and nutrition regiment was designed by his trainer. He could publically announce an apology, accepting the consequences of his actions and showing that he is willing to sit out additional games to please the public and spectators. Finally, I would also seek to design an online campaign that could be ran using blogs and podcasts on his official website. This would get people chatting on his website. The website can focus on more positive aspects about him like how he is a good father or the community of volunteer work that he has/will do.
