How to Sync iPad to New Mac 

Q: I just bought a new Macbook and I want to sync iPad to new Mac so that I can view my iPad files on my new Mac freely. It seems that iTunes doesn't allow me to do so. Is there any way for me to sync my iPad to my new Mac?
