Essentially, it entails promoting somebody's product and then getting payed commission once a sale is made. You can either promote and sell the product right on your site, or you can "pre-sell" your visitors and then send them to a different sales page, through your "affiliate link". This link is what allows you to claim your commission. Affiliate marketing is wide ranging money making method, about which reams of online eBooks are written, so this is just an intro. These are two of the most popular affiliate marketing sites in the world. 3. Charge a fee to access your site: If you have great content that is constantly updated, why not turn it into a membership site! That means recurring income every month. It's best to offer a section of the site as free content in order to entice your visitors. Then keep the premium content for your subscribers.

Similar to "Google AdSense" except you're selling directly to the advertiser. If you can swing it, it's a more consistent money maker because you simply get paid by the month as opposed to having to rely on "clicks". It isn't as popular as it used to be in the early 2000s though. Remember, those websites plastered head to toe with annoying banners? Well, so do most other people, hence they don't click on them that often. 5. Create an "opt in form" and build a list: If you have a successful website, the best way to create a consistent way to make income online is to have your visitors sign up to your email list.
