They are high in anti oxidants and they also act as an anti-inflammatory fruit. 5. Spinach. Spinach is known as one of the superfoods and it is rich in vitamin c and fiber. Spinach strengthens the bones, protects against cancer, stroke, osteoporosis and heart disease. It is a must have for every household. 6. Legumes and Beans – these the body fight heart disease, colon cancer and helps fight a high blood pressure. As for your weight loss efforts, beans and legumes help you burn fat and building muscle. 7. Nuts and almonds – there are more benefits to the body when the skin is till intact. These lower your cholesterol and prevent heart diseases because of the monounsaturated fat that they contain and their high vitamin E content.
