Slide 3: About Us: • Centered around the patented MudSaver™ valve, our business has years of experience in designing and engineering the MudSaver™ valve used for the oil and gas industry. Our competent staff and related industry professionals provide a knowledge base and service that brings great value to our products. We are currently serving areas in the United States, Canada, South America, and Asia Pacific. We offer a wide variety of services that include custom applications of our current products as well as 1/18/12 • •
Slide 4: History: • MudSaver™ Valve Technologies was formed in 2001 for the purpose of developing a MudSaver™ valve that would give superior performance over the existing mud saver valves. The current drilling environment is much harsher than in the past. Drillers are now using higher pump rates and pressures, and more abrasive weighty materials. Research and development has been performed by our team of designers and engineers in 1/18/12 •
Slide 5: • 3000A/4000A Kelly MudSaver™ Valve: Tungsten carbide applied to critical flow areas ensures long life The Kelly MudSaver™ valve enables savings of up to 1/2 barrel of mud per connection and provides a more stable and clean work environment. This Kelly MudSaver™ comes in an array of sub connections. This valve can also fit into some workover rig applications. Features • • Backflow valve with equalizer allows standpipe pressure readings Standard Totco overshot retrieving spear allows for wireline access • 1/18/12
Slide 6: 3000B/ 4000B-Top Drive MudSaver™ • Our newest design, the Top Drive MudSaver™ valve has been developed to cut down wear and tear of the Internal Blow Out Preventer (IBOP) by allowing it to act only when it is needed. This valve was built with the purpose to help reduce lengthy downtimes and often costly IBOP rebuilds. This valve is used in conjunction with the IBOP; it does NOT replace it. This valve still has the same patented technology, while providing a solution to a whole new problem. Features 1/18/12
Slide 7: Casing Valve: • We recently adapted the MudSaver™ design for a variety of casing applications by using a smaller version of the valve. The result is that by using the casing valve, casing crews can expect a minimum of mud on the rig floor during casing operations. • This, in turn results in a safer, non-slip environment for the crews as well as reduced rig cleanup costs at the conclusion of casing operations 1/18/12
Slide 8: Safety • We value safety first. The rig crews no longer have to endure drilling mud drenching both them 1/18/12 •
Slide 9: Saves Money • The MudSaver™ valve saves mud costs and drilling time. The MudSaver™ valve saves approximately ½ barrel of mud and thirty seconds on each connection. In addition, the Top Drive MudSaver™ Valve saves downtime and reduces wear to the IBOP, reducing costly IBOP rebuilds. Prevents Pollution • The MudSaver™ valve prevents the drilling mud from draining to the rig floor. This, in turn reduces the possibility of the drilling mud contaminating the surrounding watershed. Provides Safer Working Conditions • By using the MudSaver™ valve to contain mud in the drillstring, the crews are able to work with a minimum amount of mud on the rig floor. This results in less cleanup time for the crews and a non-slip, safer environment. 1/18/12

Slide 13: How it Works: • The MudSaver™ valve is an automatic, spring-loaded, piston-type valve. It requires no intervention from rig hands to open and close. It takes approximately 100 psi + mud weight from the pump to open the valve. The "spear" (shown in red, blue, and lime green) can be retrieved using a 1 3/8 Totco overshot providing a 2" opening straight through the valve for fishing wireline operations. • • 1/18/12
Slide 14: Frequently Asked Questions: • What happens if there is a “kick” taken downhole? Our reverse flow relief will allow you to read the standpipe pressure and relieve the pressure. The valve is made to allow pressure to flow back up through the valve. Where does the valve go in the drill string? • On both the Kelly MudSaver™ and Top Drive MudSaver™ valves, placement is just above drill pipe. The valve would sit below the Kelly and on a Top Drive would sit below the safety valves. 1/18/12
Slide 15: Frequently Asked Questions: • How do I know when it is time for a rebuild? The easiest way to know that a rebuild is needed is because the valve will leak mud. However, some companies will adopt a policy of rebuilding after a certain amount of days. In a case where the valve leaks prematurely, (i.e. within only a few days of use) often it is only trash stuck and will often correct itself after a few connections. We always recommend our customers to buy/rent in “pairs” so that when the valve is ready to be rebuilt you will have a spare to use while your initial valve is being rebuilt. 1/18/12
